Education Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.

📋 Description

• Assist WWF’s Wild Classroom initiative in enhancing educators’ skills and boosting K–12 environmental literacy.

• Create engaging and inclusive educational materials, such as curricula, presentations, videos, activities, readings, handouts, quizzes, and resources for educators.

• Collaborate with WWF program teams as well as marketing and communications teams during the development of content.

• Investigate educational trends, conservation education, teaching methodologies, and inclusive learning practices.

• Aid marketing and communications efforts to expand the reach and engagement of Wild Classroom.

• Identify opportunities to disseminate program resources and updates while supporting outreach initiatives and special events.

• Support educational partnerships and collaborative projects through research, coordination, and content creation.

• Monitor and address inquiries from students and educators.

• Review program communications and resources with an educational perspective.

• Track and assess program strategies, providing feedback and recommendations to enhance impact and engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree, ideally in education or environmental sciences.

• Experience in educating youth in either formal or informal settings.

• Proven experience in developing educational materials for both formal and informal learning environments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with AI and Adobe Suite is a plus.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Creative thinker with an innovative approach.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong commitment to WWF’s mission, goals, and values, along with a passion for education and conservation.

• Available full-time for one year.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
