This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assist the EDI Product Owner with daily operational tasks and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Oversee EDI connections and message flows, investigate any errors, and facilitate or escalate resolutions with the appropriate internal and external teams.
• Manage EDI onboarding projects involving customers, vendors, and technical partners, which includes clarifying requirements, testing, going live, and providing initial support.
• Aid in the development and enhancement of EDI capabilities, including testing, documentation, and the implementation of changes.
• Participate in the rollout and implementation of E-Invoicing requirements throughout the EU.
• Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Customer Care, Retail Sales, and external development and integration partners.
• Work in conjunction with the Process Application Product Owner and relevant business and IT stakeholders to provide reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Identify technical risks, limitations, and opportunities, recommending practical solutions based on business value and implementation effort.
• Promote automation across the organization.
• Generally, 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in EDI, systems integration, application support, technical project coordination, or a similar IT/business interface role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of EDI concepts, standards, message types, and system-to-system integrations.
• Initial hands-on experience in coordinating technical projects, integrations, testing activities, or with external partners.
• Strong technical acumen and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Structured, process-oriented, and detail-focused work style with the capacity to manage multiple topics and priorities.
• Clear and professional communication skills, capable of explaining technical topics to business stakeholders.
• Business-fluent English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in software development, automation engineering, low-code development, AI application development, or a similar technical role.
• Experience in designing comprehensive technical solutions and making architectural decisions across low-code platforms, APIs, AI services, cloud components, and custom development.
• Strong hands-on development skills and proven experience in taking solutions from prototype to production.
• Familiarity with workflow and orchestration platforms such as Power Automate, Make, Voiceflow, or similar tools.
• Experience in developing business applications using Power Apps or comparable low-code application platforms.
• Hands-on experience in integrating AI/LLM services like Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, or similar AI platforms into business processes and applications.
• Practical experience in Python development; experience with Azure Functions or similar serverless environments is an advantage.
• Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, JSON, data integration, and system-to-system communication.
• Experience with testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and maintenance of production applications.
• Ability to pragmatically choose between low-code/no-code, AI-based, and custom-developed solutions based on the use case.
• Capability to clearly explain technical concepts and assist non-technical business users in developing their own solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, hands-on working style.
• Business-fluent English and effective communication skills when interacting with both business and technical stakeholders.
