This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the Foundation's DRep communications, which encompass newsletters, community calls, and forum engagement.
• Enhance the Foundation's visibility in DRep and delegator discussions on platforms such as X, Discord, and the Cardano forum.
• Articulate published governance positions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Establish and nurture relationships with DReps, Stake Pool Operators, members of the Constitutional Committee, and ada holders.
• Collaborate internally with SPO relationship managers to ensure unified communication from the Foundation.
• Form coalitions around positions aligned with the Foundation through education, alignment, and active participation.
• Assist in the advancement of the Foundation’s governance strategy and DRep thesis.
• Prepare and oversee governance-related CIP and CPS submissions, as well as work on constitutional amendments.
• Contribute to the establishment of governance priorities, principles, and voting positions.
• Keep records of meeting notes, track actions, and maintain the governance decision log.
• Support the Foundation's Governance Advisory Team.
• Monitor governance actions from submission to enactment and keep internal stakeholders updated.
• 3–6 years of experience in governance coordination, community management, program management, or stakeholder relations.
• Ideally, experience within a blockchain, open-source, or member-driven organization.
• Proficient understanding of the Cardano governance landscape, including CIP-1694, DReps, SPOs, the Constitutional Committee, and treasury.
• Capability to act on directives with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated success in launching, managing, and sustaining high-engagement initiatives, such as newsletters, community call series, and collaborative working groups.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to simplify complex governance topics for better understanding.
• Proven system for tracking commitments across various stakeholders.
• Comfort with a high level of autonomy while working within a fully remote, internationally distributed team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 4–6 international trips per year.
• Fluency in AI and proficiency in utilizing AI capabilities and digital tools.
• Proficiency in Japanese or additional languages is desirable but not mandatory.
• Analytical skills related to voting dynamics and delegation data are preferred.
• Previous experience in another L1/L2 on-chain governance ecosystem is a plus.
• Experience supporting a board, council, or advisory body in a secretariat role is advantageous.
