This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee risk advisory and internal audit projects across diverse industries.
• Act as a reliable advisor by comprehending business risks, operational hurdles, and growth goals.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Create project plans and effectively allocate resources.
• Guide teams to successful project execution.
• Offer insights regarding internal controls, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and strategies for operational enhancement.
• Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to client leadership and firm stakeholders.
• Establish and sustain robust client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion.
• Assist in business development through proposals, networking, and collaboration with firm leadership.
• Mentor and cultivate the growth of team members.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 8+ years of experience in delivering technology-enabled internal audit/risk assessments in a public accounting, consulting, or corporate setting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk frameworks, and GAAP accounting standards.
• Proven capability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong consulting approach combined with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements (expected to be less than 20%).
• Experience in multiple internal audit areas (ICFR, regulatory compliance, operational risk, IT controls) is preferred.
• Familiarity with technology-enabled audit or data analytics solutions is a plus.
• Industry specialization or experience across various sectors is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor high-performing teams is preferred.
