Travel Risk Advisor – Client Embed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the intermediary between International SOS health and security analytical support and the Client Organization.

• Utilize International SOS points of contact and regional knowledge to assist clients in their decision-making processes.

• Optimize the usage of International SOS services and assess daily service utilization.

• Offer proactive recommendations for adjustments in operational procedures based on case evaluations.

• Keep client management informed about updates, innovations, the Insight Report pipeline, and pertinent thematic/geographic trends.

• Develop strategic thought pieces, forecasts, emerging-crisis detection, and operational guidance.

• Provide contextual information and advice during incidents, including implications and escalation suggestions.

• Assist in risk assessment, crisis management, business continuity, operational planning, and crisis escalations.

• Gather, analyze, and distribute security and health intelligence impacting client personnel and operations.

• Track crisis escalation indicators.

• Present findings and recommended actions to facilitate business decision-making.

• Monitor client employees through Quantum prior to travel for policy and regulatory compliance.

• Review travel information and offer assistance as necessary.

• Aid in traveler preparation, education, information, and support before, during, and after travel.

• Address traveler incidents and manage emergency response plans alongside client points of contact.

• Assist in internal escalation planning and preparatory initiatives.

• Provide customized travel risk assessments.

• Support travel-related incidents as needed, including outside of regular working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of the International SOS platform and its tools.

• Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in an additional language is preferred.

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to make clear judgments regarding the effects of security incidents on client activities.

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to set goals, define objectives, and plan for success.

• Proficient use of technology for data reporting and the online/virtual delivery of services.

• International work or security experience is preferred.

• Experience in security operations management within military, government, or private sector roles is preferred.

• Expertise in International SOS security or operational processes is preferred.

• Undergraduate degree or relevant professional training in security, risk management, or international relations studies.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
