This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and sustain scalable data pipelines that connect ecommerce, website analytics, CRM, marketing, POS, ERP, advertising, attribution, and operational systems.
• Create and uphold ETL/ELT processes for the automated ingestion, transformation, normalization, and reporting of data.
• Develop data models, schemas, and reporting standards to enhance data consistency and accuracy.
• Integrate APIs and external data sources into centralized data and reporting environments.
• Oversee data pipelines and reporting processes, addressing data quality, reliability, and performance challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, definitions, integrations, and reporting structures.
• Design and sustain centralized dashboards and reporting systems for ecommerce, customer lifecycle, retail showroom, marketing, product, and category performance.
• Merge behavioral, transactional, marketing, and operational data to deliver a holistic view of business performance.
• Generate reports for ecommerce metrics, including traffic, product engagement, add-to-cart activity, checkout behavior, conversion, revenue, average order value, and product performance.
• Create customer and lifecycle reports incorporating CRM, email engagement, segmentation, attribution, and purchasing behavior.
• Analyze customer journeys across website, ecommerce, marketing, CRM, retail, and post-purchase experiences.
• Identify friction points and customer drop-off throughout discovery, add-to-cart, checkout, purchase, delivery, and retention journeys.
• Collaborate with ecommerce and digital product teams on opportunities for conversion rate optimization.
• Support UX enhancements, merchandising decisions, personalization, customer experience initiatives, A/B testing, and experimentation.
• Analyze product, category, and customer behavior to enhance conversion rates, average order values, and ecommerce revenue.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to establish KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Define business terminologies, attribution methodologies, and performance measurement standards.
• Provide data and analyses that support forecasting, merchandising strategy, inventory optimization, lifecycle marketing, operational planning, and product launches.
• Convert business inquiries into data requirements, analyses, and actionable suggestions.
• Deliver accurate and timely information for quicker, data-driven business decisions.
• Undertake additional projects as necessary.
• A minimum of a four-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field OR a high school diploma/equivalent with comparable work experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related data-focused position.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong SQL skills with the capability to transform, organize, and analyze complex datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Python and/or R for data transformation and analysis.
• Experience in integrating APIs, third-party platforms, and diverse data sources.
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Metabase, or similar software.
• Experience in developing data models, schemas, and reporting structures that ensure consistent and reliable business reporting.
• Understanding of ecommerce analytics, customer journey measurement, conversion funnels, attribution, and lifecycle marketing.
• Experience in supporting ecommerce, retail, marketing, CRM, or other customer-oriented business functions is preferred.
• Familiarity with customer data platforms, event-based analytics, marketing automation, and A/B testing frameworks is preferred.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and independently manage data and analytics projects.
• Capability to translate business needs and complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Competence in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• A valid driver’s license is required for local travel.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks to drive on behalf of the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient SQL, data modeling, and data visualization skills.
• Strong grasp of ecommerce KPIs and customer journey analytics.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and reporting accuracy.
