E-commerce Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop solutions independently by assessing information needs and consulting with users.

• Design functional and well-balanced solutions for business challenges using clean code and suitable design patterns.

• Inquire, gather requirements, and communicate knowledge on complex technical topics.

• Assess analyses, problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and current solutions.

• Implement system architecture and software design principles with a focus on usability.

• Safeguard operations by ensuring confidentiality of information and prioritizing application security.

• Troubleshoot issues by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service challenges.

• Assist the business in adopting technological enhancements and cost-effective solutions.

• Create and execute backend solutions for website content generation and management.

• Style homepages based on designs from the Creative Department utilizing CSS.

• Oversee DNS and database tasks during website launches.

• Maintain current client websites, including content updates and troubleshooting issues.

• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.

• Build and sustain websites using WordPress.

• Work with APIs to enhance website capabilities.

• Keep documentation of development processes and modifications.

• Participate in regular team meetings to review project progress and address challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, business management, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and API Integrations.

• Familiarity with DNS, database management, and ServiceTitan is advantageous.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent customer service orientation.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

• Experience with responsive web design, website maintenance, DNS, databases, WordPress, APIs, and backend solutions.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (USA), Monday through Friday (USA).
