This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Editing machine-translated text for accuracy and clarity.

• Conduct post-editing on high-volume marketing content generated by machines, utilizing advanced machine learning tools.

• Ensure the content is precise, grammatically sound, clear, and culturally relevant.

• Work alongside a creative team to uphold consistency with the established style, tone, and terminology.

• Quality assessment of machine translation output.

• Assist in quality control by recognizing patterns of mistakes and offering structured feedback.

• Fill out brief feedback forms and provide project ratings occasionally to enhance the performance of the machine translation engine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in post-editing, translation, or technical writing, whether on the agency or client side.

• Strong background in post-editing tasks.

• Familiarity with machine translation systems and evaluation of MT output quality is preferred.

• Native Dutch speaker with proficiency in English.

• Experience in translating marketing content while preserving brand voice and messaging.

• Understanding of technical writing principles and the ability to convert complex technical language into accessible copy.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive criticism.

• Preferred: proficiency in Mac software applications.
