DT SAP Production Planning Technical/Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Provide IT solutions for Operations, which encompass production, assembly and testing, as well as plant maintenance functions.

• Collaborate with operations stakeholders to comprehend requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional Digital Technology teams, third-party software vendors, partners, and subject matter experts.

• Suggest solutions, resolve complex issues, and implement best practices and technologies.

• Identify process opportunities that enhance business processes and generate business benefits.

• Conduct technical and functional problem-solving while ensuring integration with other applications.

• Support the SAP ECC environment and projects related to production and engine centers.

• Engage in the SAP S/4HANA digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream.

• Document business requirements and convert them into specification documents.

• Ensure seamless integration between Operations and enterprise applications.

• Lead or engage in ERP projects, aligning stakeholders on vision, scope, schedule, and budget.

• Identify, assess, and implement ongoing business improvements through standard application configurations.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to post-go-live support teams.

• Travel as necessary based on business and project requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, including customer-facing roles, requirements gathering, functional/technical solution design, support, and project management/delivery; OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and the same qualifications.

• Over 5 years of SAP configuration experience in the SAP Production Planning module.

• Experience with SAP S/4 is preferred.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical abilities.

• Experience in project management.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Preferred: SAP PP certification (ECC/S4) or equivalent experience.

• Preferred: Working knowledge of additional SAP modules.

• Preferred: Strong technical background in a complex SAP landscape.

• Preferred: Proven leadership in successful process improvement initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience in process development and implementation across organizational boundaries.

• Preferred: Agile mindset with experience in implementing and supporting scaled agile practices.

• Preferred: Experience with program debugging.

• Preferred: BTP/MES experience.

• Ability and willingness to travel as per business/project requirements.
