Drug Discovery Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop realistic drug research and development challenges for evaluating frontier AI models.

• Generate prompts, data rooms, and assessment documents for each task.

• Detect hidden basins and forcing chains that contribute to defensible conclusions.

• Construct data rooms utilizing authentic, source-verified data.

• Ensure that every critical value is traceable to a legitimate source.

• Draft grading documents that assess submitted memos based on their substance.

• Conduct verification and calibration prior to submission.

• Modify tasks when reviewers request alterations.

• Act as the final authority on scientific and difficulty-related questions for assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in mechanistic enzymology, structure-guided peptide or antibody design, fragment-based discovery, or structure-based medicinal chemistry.

• PhD or a comparable industry experience.

• Capability to design thorough, realistic research problems that cannot be resolved through pattern matching or lookup methods.

• Proficiency in evaluating the quality of reasoning, rather than merely final answers.

• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 40 hours.

• Comfortable utilizing a browser-based studio and Claude Code.

• Claude Max subscription is mandatory.

• Must function as an independent contractor.
