This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the drop ship and AIT delivery processes for consignment inventory.

• Ensure effective material movement from suppliers to usage points, maintain strong delivery performance, and minimize aged in-transit inventory.

• Examine standard work, procedures, and process documentation; pinpoint gaps and drive enhancements.

• Develop operating procedures, work instructions, and templates for standard work.

• Monitor the activity of consignment shipments and the flow of inventory.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, resolve issues, and execute accurately.

• Act as the liaison between suppliers, procurement, logistics, production, and manufacturing teams.

• Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes for suppliers involved in consignment drop ship programs.

• Analyze data related to shipments, inventory, and delivery to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Offer recommendations aimed at enhancing performance, reducing costs, and increasing process reliability.

• Produce performance reports and operational insights for management's decision-making and accountability.

• Deliver training, coaching, and day-to-day support regarding drop ship processes and best practices.

• Oversee assigned contracted resources and coordinate work priorities.

• Maintain and enhance the Supply Chain Standard Work hub for Integrated Manufacturing.

• Engage in operating rhythms and tackle cross-functional operational challenges.

• Implement continuous improvement and FLIGHT DECK principles.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing, or a GE Leadership Program Graduate in place of experience.

• Proficient in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or delivery operations.

• Capable of analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and executing practical solutions.

• Experience in documenting processes, managing projects or programs, and driving execution across various stakeholders.

• Proficient in working with data, reporting, and process performance metrics.

• Smartsheet experience is required or strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.

• Ability to train, coach, and influence team members across different functions.

• Excellent communication skills with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Possess a continuous improvement mindset.

• Demonstrate humility, transparency, collaboration, and commitment to achieving results.

• U.S. Person status is required for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable; employees may be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
