DRG Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide training and mentorship to both new and seasoned DRG auditors

• Create comprehensive training materials, guides, and online learning modules

• Assess audits for precision, offer constructive feedback, and mentor coders

• Identify trends, examine root causes, and enhance overall coding quality

• Contribute to the development of more intelligent and efficient audit processes

• Ensure the team remains informed about the latest regulations, tools, and best practices

• Balance responsibilities between training and quality assessment

• Conduct virtual sessions to assist auditors in addressing complex cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DRG and/or APR DRG auditing and training

• Possession of RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certifications (mandatory)

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• In-depth understanding of DRG audit protocols and compliance regulations

• Experience in coaching others and creating training resources

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in providing impactful feedback

• A brief coding/auditing assessment may be required during the interview process
