This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Assist project managers and other departments by providing design support.
• Deliver design drawings to the Mechanical Projects installation team as required.
• Ensure that the final product adheres to design specifications.
• Keep facility drawing records up to date, including the management and maintenance of plant layout drawings.
• Utilize a 3D scanner as necessary to produce as-built drawings of the plant.
• Assist the machine shop by standardizing, updating, and creating drawings for parts.
• Aid in the preparation for future CNC operations.
• Address design requirements for operations, safety, and minor projects.
• Over 5 years of experience in CAD Design Engineering.
• Strong organizational and design engineering capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering designs punctually.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in the wire manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair processes related to manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient computing and software skills, particularly in Autodesk software (both 2D and 3D) and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus.
