Donor Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and manage relationships with donors to enhance mission impact and promote market revenue growth.

• Meet revenue targets by leveraging relationships with current and potential donors, along with DIY events.

• Work in partnership with market leadership to implement essential event strategies.

• Inspire, engage, and empower volunteers to support the mission.

• Oversee a donor portfolio and contribute to the overall success of the market.

• Ensure data accuracy and positively influence donor retention metrics.

• Organize top-tier fundraising events that generate significant impact and revenue.

• Articulate the work and mission impact of March of Dimes effectively.

• Implement the market event strategy by aligning donor interests with the mission impact agenda.

• Expand and manage a donor revenue portfolio.

• Carry out mid-level donor stewardship practices.

• Organize DIY events and curate personalized donor experiences.

• Offer activation and stewardship opportunities for designated family teams.

• Oversee event B&C level teams for March for Babies.

• Maintain a consistent year-round revenue pipeline.

• Identify potential candidates for volunteer positions and organize event committees.

• Collaborate with Centralized Logistics to ensure successful virtual and in-person events, programs, and meetings.

• Uphold CRM/FRED data integrity and document interactions with donors and prospects.

• Work together with Centralized Logistics and Finance on invoicing, collections, and sponsorship distribution.

• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability in planning and executing successful events.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• A four-year college degree is preferred.
