Domain Consultant – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Showcase the benefits of Idira's identity security solutions to both potential and existing public sector clients.

• Perform demonstrations, presentations, meetings, architectural assessments, and Proof of Concepts.

• Act as the technical expert and product champion for the field sales team.

• Lead and oversee the technology assessment phase during the sales cycle.

• Create optimal solutions tailored to complex customer infrastructure and datacenter settings.

• Offer technical support to public sector entities and partners.

• Cultivate technical relationships within target accounts, partners, and current customers.

• Plan, implement, and oversee Proof of Concept evaluations.

• Assist in the preparation and responses for RFPs and RFIs.

• Establish and nurture connections with technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• Support and empower the Idira partner ecosystem.

• Represent Idira at industry conferences, partner workshops, trade shows, and marketing campaigns.

• Relay customer needs to Product Management, Professional Services, and other internal groups.

• Contribute to internal teams and mentor colleagues when suitable.

• Travel less than 50% for client engagements and industry functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in MIS/Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

• More than 5 years of experience in a presales technical capacity.

• Ideally, experience with identity management or security technologies.

• Capability to forge relationships at various levels and collaborate across organizations.

• Skills in leadership and consensus-building.

• Experience or a solid understanding of public sector IT landscapes.

• Knowledge of FIPS, FedRAMP, ATOs, STIGs/hardening, NIST 800-53, security accreditation processes, and public sector procurement methods.

• Familiarity with identity security, Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Practical experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

• Experience with LDAP, AD, Federation, and Bridging.

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems.

• Experience with IaaS/PaaS administration and support in AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP or CEH are highly valued.

• Previous experience with Idira software or relevant background in enterprise, security, systems, identity, or policy management is preferred.
