Domain Consultant, Cortex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to suggest and create customer solutions within the designated specialization area.

• Present to customers as the authority, engaging with stakeholders from practitioner to senior leadership levels.

• Act as the primary technical contact for Cortex and work together on RFIs/RFPs.

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Define and oversee Proof of Value projects for potential customers and partners.

• Ensure high technical validation and achieve strong Proof of Value win rates.

• Discuss product alignment with customer needs and highlight differentiation.

• Design solutions that enhance and simplify customers’ security posture.

• Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for implementation and value realization.

• Assist customers in building and developing services around Cortex solutions.

• Lead discussions on industry trends and shifts in the emerging security landscape.

• Analyze competitive market offerings and position Palo Alto Networks solutions as the preferred choice.

• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services to ensure proper implementation and value realization.

• Initiate projects aimed at enhancing team performance.

• Implement organizational policies and support others in adopting them.

• Relay customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D to shape requirements and deliver product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering in SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.

• Highly desirable: experience in IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales.

• Experience in customer engagement.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Comprehensive understanding of Security Operations Center processes.

• In-depth knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.

• Scripting experience is a plus; proficiency in Python is preferred.

• Fluent in English.

• Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas for this position.

• Travel may be necessary to support in-person customer meetings.
