This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise and direction in the network security and zero trust initiatives of customers.

• Design technical solutions that safeguard the essential business goals of customers.

• Advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ on-premises, cloud, and security services.

• Work in collaboration with sales teams to propose and craft customer solutions.

• Present as a technical authority to clients, ranging from practitioners to senior executives.

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Manage technical validation projects for potential customers and partners.

• Develop solutions that enhance and streamline customers’ security frameworks.

• Document high-level designs and critical use cases.

• Engage in discussions regarding industry trends and transformations within the security domain.

• Address product alignment with customer needs and highlight differentiation.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for Network Security and assist in RFI/RFP responses.

• Position Palo Alto Networks or services delivered by partners for optimal implementation and value realization.

• Analyze competitive offerings in the marketplace and present Palo Alto Networks as the superior choice.

• Collaborate with international teams and assist in customer meetings that may necessitate travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.

• Proficiency in L2-L4 Networking, encompassing L2 switching architectures, Spanning Tree, VLANs/trunking, IP routing, static routes, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution, and L4 load-balancing.

• Exceptional customer communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven experience working with clients, showcasing problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Strong understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.

• Advanced knowledge of both on-premise and cloud-based network security technologies.

• Proficient in English.

• Capability to support in-person customer meetings; travel may be necessary.
