Domain Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to suggest and create customer solutions within the designated specialization area.

• Present to clients as a subject-matter expert, engaging with practitioners up to senior leadership.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Cortex and address RFIs/RFPs.

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Scope and manage Proof of Value projects for potential customers and partners.

• Enhance technical validation and increase Proof of Value success rates.

• Discuss product alignment with client needs and unique differentiators.

• Design solutions that enhance and streamline customers’ security postures.

• Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases.

• Assist customers in building and evolving services around Cortex solutions.

• Lead discussions regarding industry trends and shifts in the security landscape.

• Position Palo Alto Networks and partner-delivered services for effective implementation and value realization.

• Initiate projects aimed at enhancing team performance and assisting others in adopting organizational policies.

• Relay customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.

• IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales experience is highly desirable.

• Experience in client-facing roles.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.

• Strong understanding of Security Operations Center processes.

• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.

• Scripting experience is a plus, with Python preferred.

• Proficient in English.

• Must be capable of supporting field sales activities and may need to travel for in-person customer meetings.
