Domain Consultant 2 – Cortex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to propose and develop customer solutions within the designated specialization area.

• Act as the Cortex authority, presenting to customers at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for Cortex, assisting with responses to RFIs/RFPs.

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Define and manage Proof of Value projects for potential customers and partners.

• Enhance technical validation and increase Proof of Value win rates.

• Discuss product alignment with customer needs and highlight differentiation.

• Design solutions to enhance and simplify customers’ security posture.

• Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases.

• Assist customers in building and further developing services around Cortex solutions.

• Lead discussions on industry trends and shifts in the security landscape.

• Analyze competitive offerings and present Palo Alto Networks’ solutions as the superior choice.

• Position services from Palo Alto Networks or its partners to ensure effective implementation and value realization.

• Initiate projects aimed at enhancing team performance.

• Implement organizational policies and assist others in adopting them.

• Relay customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitive intelligence, and R&D to influence requirements and product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.

• Experience collaborating with customers.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

• Strong understanding of Security Operations Center processes.

• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.

• Scripting experience is advantageous; Python is preferred.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

• Preferably possesses Professional Working Proficiency in French.

• Ability to support in-person customer meetings and travel as necessary.
