This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the queue and follow up on MRO requests for donor documentation necessary to finalize test result types.
• Reach out to physicians, dentists, pharmacists, emergency rooms, and other healthcare professionals to confirm prescriptions, medications, or to request authorized medical record releases.
• Track status, respond to calls, return messages, and follow up until all necessary information is obtained and documentation is finalized.
• Input documentation into the MRO computer system and update the queue to confirm completed results.
• Notify the MRO of any unusual findings and discrepancies.
• Assess whether the medication or information provided aligns with the MRO request.
• Evaluate if the medication or information is metabolically accurate as a possible explanation for a positive test result.
• Release confirmed negative test results and defer outstanding positive tests to the MRO.
• Keep updated on medical procedures, drug-testing processes, and different drug classes.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and maintain a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with clients and business partners.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant MRO experience, medical, or pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to identify and promptly escalate issues.
• Must demonstrate initiative and reliability to work independently after training.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of problem-solving.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday during the 10:00 am–6:30 pm EST schedule post-training.
• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day and occasionally walk, stand, and lift up to 15 lbs.
