This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver user support for management information systems through phone assistance or on-site visits.
• Diagnose and resolve end-user issues.
• Engage in training sessions focused on PDF accessibility, document remediation practices, and organizational software tools.
• Utilize specialized software to detect and rectify accessibility problems in PDF documents.
• Examine assigned PDF files and carry out remediation in accordance with established protocols.
• Adjust tags, headings, lists, reading sequences, tables, links, images, and document attributes.
• Employ automated accessibility-checking tools and confirm the accuracy of completed work.
• Conduct basic manual quality assessments of remediated documents.
• Collaborate with the agency webmaster to upload accessible documents and substitute non-compliant documents.
• Work alongside the project supervisor to clarify inquiries and ascertain the handling of complex documents.
• Escalate documents or accessibility concerns that fall outside established procedures or necessitate advanced remediation.
• Adhere to documented workflows and implement established remediation standards.
• Maintain precise records of assigned documents, completed tasks, remediation statuses, and issues needing review.
• Organize and manage electronic files according to file-naming conventions, storage guidelines, and document-control procedures.
• Handle a substantial volume of documents while ensuring accuracy and meeting productivity standards.
• Integrate feedback from supervisors and quality reviews.
• Safeguard confidential or sensitive information in organizational documents.
• Execute related technical and project-support responsibilities as assigned.
• Basic understanding of computers, software applications, file management, and standard office technology.
• Proven ability to learn new software applications and technical processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and skill in spotting errors or discrepancies.
• Capability to follow written procedures and detailed technical instructions.
• Competence in performing repetitive, detail-oriented computer tasks accurately and consistently.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple files and assignments while keeping accurate work records.
• Skill in effectively communicating questions, issues, and progress with a supervisor.
• Ability to work independently after receiving training while seeking guidance when necessary.
• Experience with Equidox PDF Remediation Software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro or other PDF editing tools.
• Background in document processing, data entry, records management, quality assurance, or other high-volume production-related tasks.
• Understanding of digital accessibility principles, assistive technology, or accessibility standards.
• Candidates must reside in the Atlanta area.
• Access to high-speed internet.
• Capability to remotely connect to DCH systems via Weblink.

• On-the-job training provided.
• Established procedures along with continuous guidance and oversight from the project supervisor.
