This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Advisor Consultants across both Wire and Non-Wire channels.
• Track activities and achievements to enhance sales performance.
• Oversee sales personnel within a designated geographic area.
• Optimize production through effective territory management and appropriate staffing.
• Articulate and share the vision, strategy, and objectives with wholesalers.
• Source, recruit, train, mentor, and develop wholesalers.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for the team.
• Collaborate closely with internal support teams.
• Educate wholesalers on products and processes while coaching them on personal style application.
• Promote teamwork and collective success.
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback for professional growth.
• Develop relationships with strategic partners, registered representatives, and firms.
• Represent Hartford Funds at meetings, branch presentations, company events, and industry conferences.
• Maintain interdepartmental communication to influence strategic direction.
• Plan and oversee the division's expense budgets.
• Conduct management activities in line with corporate human resource policies, including performance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Supervise field operations.
• Monitor and analyze sales activities and results to evaluate wholesaler performance and identify areas for enhancement.
• Ensure cost management and compliance.
• Collaborate across departments to promote Hartford Funds culture and enhance brand strength.
• A minimum of five years' experience leading a team at a national or regional level.
• At least ten years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Proven track record in coaching a sales organization and achieving goals within a mutual fund firm; experience with ETFs and SMAs is advantageous.
• Exceptional energy, focus, and drive for achieving results.
• Demonstrated success and sustainable performance in a financial sales setting.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the organization and with partner firms.

• Confident public speaker and proficient presenter.

• Comprehensive knowledge of products and a sound investment acumen.

• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing (or equivalent practical experience).
• Required licenses: Series 7, 63, 24, or Series 26.
