This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Formulate and execute localized sales strategies, encompassing pricing, key market focus, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Design and implement market activities such as surveys, blitzes, and account visits.
• Propel the execution and assessment of both National and Local programs, inclusive of Strategic Account initiatives.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of dynamics and trends within each division's territory.
• Organize quarterly meetings to detail incentives, tools, and focus brands.
• Coordinate blitz days aimed at top displayable accounts.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key On- and Off-Premise buyers, Regional Account Managers, and Independent Account Executives.
• Manage relationships with local key accounts and track progress against account-specific objectives.
• Oversee wholesaler relationships at both the Division Sales Manager and General Sales Manager levels.
• Conduct monthly business reviews in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager.
• Assess business and brand performance utilizing O’Neill Scorecards.
• Communicate findings to the General Manager and work together on actionable insights.
• Cultivate team motivation through various tools and strategies.
• Facilitate monthly team gatherings, happy hours, and other engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the O’Neill National Account Team to improve chain merchandising execution through blitzes, GSMs, and joint events.
• Drive profitable and sustainable growth, winery volume, market share, and profitability in the designated region.
• At least 5+ years of experience in the industry and/or sales experience in the consumer products sector.
• Proven track record in team management, demonstrating success in talent development, including promoting team members.
• Prior experience in revenue ownership, A&P spending, and budget oversight.
• Proficient in establishing and nurturing effective working relationships with Distributors, Accounts, and internal stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge and mastery of pricing structures.
• Highly adept in negotiation with both distributors and key accounts.
• Demonstrated familiarity and expertise in on-premise and off-premise business operations, as well as the three-tier distribution system.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, with exceptional skills in PowerPoint.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and listening abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments accurately within set deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to influence the actions and decisions of others without direct authority.
• Must reside within the designated territory (New York City and Connecticut).
• Must have authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion activities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, and stack boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage prolonged screen time.
• Ability to discern the color, smell, and taste of wine.

• Experience managing large states or multi-state territories is preferred.
