📋 Description

• Formulate and implement territory sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue, market share, profitability, and strategic growth targets.

• Discover and secure new business prospects with builders, plumbing contractors, wholesalers, developers, commercial end users, and other potential clients.

• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts, distributors, plumbing wholesalers, kitchen and bath dealers, builders, contractors, and other channel partners.

• Oversee territory performance in line with set sales objectives, KPIs, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with designated manufacturer representative agencies to enhance sales effectiveness and market reach.

• Cultivate relationships with architects, designers, plumbing engineers, developers, and other specification influencers to ensure product specifications and manage project opportunities to completion.

• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities for customers and industry professionals.

• Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools to oversee account and opportunity activity, sales pipelines, and forecasting.

• Evaluate sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and customer interactions to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Work in coordination with internal teams to address customer, product, service, and account-related issues.

• Stay updated on TOTO products, pricing, availability, competitive actions, and market trends.

• Engage in industry associations, trade shows, customer events, and networking opportunities to foster business and enhance TOTO's presence across the territory.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and kindness on behalf of the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of applicable outside sales experience; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.

• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets while independently managing a defined sales territory.

• Strong skills in sales planning, prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship building.

• Experience in cultivating relationships with builders, contractors, wholesalers, developers, architects, designers, distributors, or other pertinent industry stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational, territory management, pipeline management, analytical, and sales forecasting abilities.

• Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales or business intelligence tools.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote and field-based setting while juggling multiple priorities.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to fulfill the travel requirements of the role.

• Experience in the plumbing sector or in selling plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bath products, building materials, construction products, or similar offerings.

• Established connections within the builder, plumbing wholesale, contractor, distribution, and specification communities in North and South Carolina.

• Background working with national or regional home builders, multifamily developers, and commercial construction firms.

• Familiarity with SAP CRM, Tableau, or comparable CRM and business intelligence platforms.

• Candidates must reside in the Charlotte, NC metropolitan area.

• Regular travel throughout North and South Carolina is necessary, including overnight travel as business needs arise.

• Ability to travel for extended durations and to sit, stand, and walk as required during travel, customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, and other field activities.

• Proficiency in operating a computer and other standard office equipment, and effective communication in person, by phone, and via electronic platforms.

• Capacity to transport presentation materials, product samples, or similar sales materials as necessary, with or without reasonable accommodation.
