This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Achieve sales goals and execute sales and account strategies within a matrix sales environment.
• Identify, develop, and capitalize on project opportunities in the designated sales district.
• Attract new clients and contractors to boost demand for company offerings.
• Build enduring relationships with decision-makers from key accounts.
• Organize and conduct sales calls utilizing CRM to manage efforts and monitor outcomes.
• Present professional sales pitches to diverse teams, architects, distributors, builders, developers, engineers, contractors, and other essential stakeholders.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for significant accounts.
• Maintain regular customer engagement through scheduled calls and visits following the CRM segmentation strategy.
• Expand the customer and contractor database for the region.
• Articulate product value propositions to various stakeholder groups.
• Oversee annual sales plans and strategic account initiatives to enhance market penetration.
• Collaborate with local independent manufacturer’s representative agencies.
• Travel to provide ongoing training and support.
• Prioritize and follow up on leads generated from trade shows and other sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of client deliveries as promised.
• Encourage the adoption of EDI and VMI among distributors.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, track business metrics, forecasts, and trend analyses.
• Provide weekly updates along with daily, weekly, and monthly reports on field activities, sales, competitor insights, and forecasts.
• Track travel and incidental expenses, ensuring timely submission of expense reports.
• Utilize CRM/SAP Mobile Sales calendars to log opportunities, activities, customers, contractors, and schedules.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years of experience in product sales.
• A valid and active Driver’s License is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong listening skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong relationship-building and strategic sales skills.
• Demonstrated sales expertise and a successful history in business development.

• Familiarity with the commercial construction market and its various influences on purchasing decisions.
