This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve wholesale and retail sales goals within the district.
• Engage with dealerships to coordinate wholesale, retail vehicle, and P.O.E. accessory sales initiatives alongside dealer principals, general managers, and department heads.
• Establish and nurture professional, long-term relationships with dealers in the designated district.
• Convey dealership policies and procedures while providing consistent guidance.
• Oversee dealer compliance with policies and procedures and their involvement in sales, marketing, and advertising initiatives.
• Inform Region management of non-compliance issues and propose solutions.
• Evaluate dealership sales performance, market penetration, and vehicle inventory management.
• Formulate and propose marketing and promotional tactics to enhance wholesale and retail sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Train dealers on marketing updates, social media, digital marketing tools, and customer dealer ratings.
• Register dealers for the latest marketing programs and services.
• Guarantee dealer adherence to Mitsubishi logo and website standards.
• Provide training for dealer sales personnel using Mitsubishi Academy, MiShowroom, and MiDelivery.
• Investigate and resolve pending incentive payments with dealers.
• Support dealers in the use and claiming of RDA and Co-op Funds.
• Collaborate, plan, and execute sales strategies with district colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
• Minimum of 3 years in automotive sales, dealer relations, field operations, or OEM/distributor roles.
• Direct experience engaging with franchised automotive dealerships, ideally in a district or regional role.
• Strong knowledge of retail automotive sales processes, vehicle inventory management, and factors influencing dealer profitability.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities with a knack for influencing dealer principals, general managers, and department leaders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work independently in a field-based role while maintaining close collaboration with regional and district peers.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with the possibility of up to 4 overnight trips per month.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and maintain an MMNA-approved driving record.
• Experience in representing an OEM or distributor, such as DSM, FOM, or Territory Manager role, is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
