This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Provide direction and support to stores to meet district sales and profitability targets.
• Create and execute strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize profits.
• Analyze and review sales and expense data for each store, recommending enhancements as needed.
• Present district sales results to the Regional Manager.
• Regularly visit all district stores to conduct evaluations.
• Ensure timely execution of company policies, procedures, and merchandising initiatives.
• Recruit, train, develop, and oversee Store Management.
• Guarantee that associates deliver exceptional customer service and take corrective measures when necessary.
• Advise Store Managers on personnel matters, store events, problem-solving, and crisis management.
• Promote effective communication with store staff and the community.
• Establish individual and store objectives and monitor progress.
• Visit competitor locations and report on changes in pricing, operations, and policies.
• Review store documentation and cash control processes.
• Ensure adherence to shrink reduction and Asset Protection initiatives.
• Coordinate new store openings, remodels, and equipment repairs.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of store paperwork and appropriately route correspondence.
• Monitor merchandise levels and manage stock adjustments between stores.
• Conduct quarterly and annual physical inventory assessments.
• Complete semi-annual performance evaluations and make annual merit increase recommendations for Store Managers.
• Ensure timely administration of employee reviews before deadlines.
• Communicate district conditions and circumstances to relevant management or departments.
• Travel between stores, sometimes covering several hundred miles each week.
• Ability to fulfill all duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to travel between stores, occasionally covering several hundred miles weekly.
• Capability to provide leadership, training, development, and guidance to Store Managers and store staff.
• Proficiency in analyzing sales and expense data and making informed recommendations.
• Competence in conducting store inspections, audits, inventory counts, and competitor visits.
• Skill in recruiting, training, developing, and managing Store Management.
• Ability to address personnel issues, engage in problem-solving, manage crises, and implement progressive discipline.
• Expertise in coordinating new store openings, remodels, equipment repairs, and inventory management.
