Distinguished Technologist/Strategist – Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver extensive technical thought leadership across the HPE portfolio for the HPE Tier 1 Industry Vertical Team.

• Offer strategic insights to account teams and clients utilizing expertise in the Service Provider and High Tech industries.

• Act as a trusted advisor and significant influencer on account strategies and investment decisions.

• Foster relationships with IT executives, business customers, various business units, R&D, partners, and HPE teams.

• Proactively co-define and co-create customer solutions to stay ahead of competitors.

• Provide technical consultation, expertise, and recommendations based on validated technologies, theories, methods, and techniques.

• Transform customer environments over short-, mid-, and long-term timelines.

• Mentor and guide members of specialty sales, presales, and enterprise architect teams.

• Meet or surpass business metrics and customer expectations.

• Stay informed about manufacturing, services, service provider, and broader vertical-market solutions and trends.

• Build and maintain relationships with key ISVs and integrators.

• Document and share account strategies while adhering to firewall and NDA protocols.

• Create thought leadership presentations and white papers for distribution throughout North America.

• Share market insights and account findings with HPE and the Office of the CTO.

• Set and manage expectations to guarantee HPE fulfills its commitments.

• Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities to enhance HPE's account footprint and revenue.

• Identify, qualify, and pursue cross-HPE business-unit opportunities.

• Manage multiple engagements and projects concurrently across the account.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution.

• Over 15 years of relevant work experience in IT, technology, and solutions development and sales.

• Minimum of 4 years of expertise in the Tier One Service Provider industry.

• Global IT experience is preferred.

• Experience in GSI Consulting is an advantage.

• In-depth domain knowledge across the HPE enterprise portfolio.

• Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that address business and IT challenges.

• Capability to effectively position HPE solutions.

• Expert understanding of emerging industry trends.

• Ability to build and maintain credibility with HPE business units and account teams.

• Proficient in leading the development of innovative principles and concepts.

• Skilled in collaborating effectively with extended team members, partners, and clients.

• Competence in architecting end-to-end solutions with a comprehensive understanding of service provider data centers.

• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and complex technical and business landscape.

• Proficiency in engaging at various levels of the customer's organization and within HPE.

• Capability to manage multiple engagements and projects simultaneously.
