This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as a subject matter expert in reimbursement assistance and patient affordability.
• Facilitate the effective design and cross-functional execution of newly established patient support programs.
• Provide support for the design and implementation of both new and ongoing programs across designated Mercalis services.
• Serve as the main point of contact for detailed client program design, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collect operational and IT requirements necessary for program scoping, pricing, and implementation.
• Lead client discussions to gather requirements for program design.
• Create design documentation in collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
• Develop and assess recommended processes, systems, technology, and roles for proposed solutions.
• Submit work requests to the relevant service owners via the designated ticketing system.
• Consult with service and product owners regarding implementation deliverables and configuration.
• Collaborate with operations and IT teams to upgrade processes and systems for new client onboarding.
• Assist stakeholders responsible for delivering implementation outcomes.
• Distribute requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the evaluation of custom requirements.
• Work alongside project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Secure final approval and sign-off on program components.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions and generate recommendations and reports on outcomes of program design.
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in supporting, program managing, or operating patient support programs.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in reimbursement support or design roles related to patient support programs.
• Proven experience in project management, risk mitigation, execution, and program closure.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changes.
• Ability to lead and guide both internal and external cross-functional teams, aligning resources toward a common objective.
• Business acumen to comprehend the value of Mercalis solutions while acting as the client advocate within the organization.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in engaging with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Skills in conflict resolution and the ability to communicate difficult messages to clients and internal teams.
• Flexibility in working hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with a preferred accuracy of 97%.
• Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screening may be required.
