This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all initiatives within the designated EPMO portfolio.
• Assist project teams in tracking progress and ensuring the successful realization of intended value and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Project Leaders to enhance project plans, milestones, and metrics for success.
• Recognize, analyze, and assist in overcoming significant obstacles to project success.
• Prepare documentation for governance meetings at both executive and board levels.
• Facilitate post-mortem reviews and document lessons learned.
• Integrate the assigned project portfolio within the overall EPMO framework and align it with enterprise goals.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Project Leaders on best practices for project execution.
• Oversee the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence into project methodologies and solutions.
• Ensure essential resources and support are available for Project Leaders.
• Supervise direct reports where applicable.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Exceptional leadership and facilitation abilities.
• Advanced strategic thinking skills with the capacity to distill complex information into actionable plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Extensive knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies, Transformation Office techniques, tools, and best practices.

• Curiosity and proficiency in technology, particularly in Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Contract Research Organizations and Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 12 years in strategy execution, business transformation, digital program management, portfolio management, software technology implementation, change management, or a similar role within a large-scale EPMO or Transformation Office.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex project portfolios and meeting strategic objectives.
• Ability to identify and resolve intricate organizational and project-related challenges.
• Experience in communicating with and presenting to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in change management principles and their practical application in corporate settings.
• Skills in coaching, mentoring, and influencing others.
• Capability to navigate complex global organizations.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and their business applications is highly desirable.
