Director Técnico – Software Architecture, Technology Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical cross-reference for Knowmad Mood with strategic clients.

• Provide vision, align, and enhance the company's horizontal technical activities in service execution and technical presales.

• Act as the technical reference for clients with multidisciplinary profiles, including technical leaders, architects, and project managers.

• Maintain direct technical communication with clients.

• Cover the complete client operation: planning, presales, and execution.

• Prepare presales, define solutions, and present Knowmad Mood's global or specific capabilities.

• Develop proof of concepts and pilot solutions.

• Resolve project or client issues when a solution becomes complex through low-level technical analysis.

• Advocate for best practices and infrastructure for development projects, including code repositories and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Participate in technical strategy meetings with representatives from technology communities to identify synergies and decide on strategies.

• Propose and lead technical initiatives, including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

• Design and define robust and scalable architectures aligned with business needs and quality standards.

• Analyze the technical feasibility of solutions, technologies, architectural approaches, and trade-offs.

• Translate between business and technology, managing communication and expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a software/solutions architect in designing, estimating, risk management, and implementing enterprise solutions with diverse technologies.

• At least 3 years of experience as a technical reference for clients, overseeing technical leaders.

• Leadership skills and extensive experience with agile methodologies.

• Experience working with generative AI applied to software development.

• Creativity, a passion for innovation, and initiative to propose and lead new work methods or team organization.

• Proven ability to take on management responsibilities, lead teams, and maintain client relationships.

• Experience with completed projects.

• Experience in technical presales: solution design, estimations, documentation, risk management, and client defense.

• Extensive experience in defining software architecture: architectural patterns, hexagonal architecture, SOLID principles, microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

• Familiarity with various backend and frontend languages and technologies.

• Experience and knowledge in data management.

• Design and management of REST/SOAP APIs and API Management.

• Experience in cloud infrastructure and services: AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Focus on software quality and continuous improvement of development processes.

• High level of English proficiency.

• Availability to work in Spain.
