This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the strategic and operational management of procurement, inventory planning and control, as well as supply chain master data governance for the AFH and Masterflex business units.
• Formulate and implement global and regional procurement strategies that align with business goals.
• Assist in the selection of suppliers, contract negotiations, and the management of supplier relationships.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, value engineering solutions, and enhancements to supply continuity.
• Guarantee adherence to procurement policies, contractual commitments, and regulatory standards.
• Spearhead inventory optimization, stocking policies, replenishment strategies, and S&OP supply planning.
• Track inventory turnover, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), fill rates, stockouts, and excess or obsolete inventory.
• Create and uphold frameworks for supply chain master data governance.
• Supervise the accuracy, integrity, and standardization of material, vendor, customer, and inventory master data.
• Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders on data quality issues, ERP enhancements, system implementations, and digital supply chain projects.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to assess supply chain performance.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, technology integration, automation, visibility, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement expenditures, inventory investments, departmental budgets, cost savings, and working capital objectives.
• Aid in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and the development of strategic investment business cases.
• Lead and nurture teams in procurement, inventory management, and master data functions.
• Set performance expectations and development pathways, mentor potential leaders, and collaborate with HR on succession planning and talent management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management.
• Proven experience in leading procurement, inventory planning, and master data operations.
• Strong expertise in supplier management and inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, JDE, or comparable platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams within complex global organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of best practices in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Solid understanding of master data governance principles.
• Exceptional analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in S&OP and supply planning processes.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and dashboard reporting.
• Preferred certifications include APICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP), CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, and PMP.
