Director, Solution Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Deliver technical expertise to support the sales and implementation of Context Labs’ products.

• Act as a liaison between technical, product, and customer requirements, concentrating on oil & gas facilities and greenhouse gas emissions.

• Partner with sales teams, product managers, and clients on demonstrations, digital readiness evaluations, and intricate data integration issues.

• Establish pre-sales technical positioning, demonstration benchmarks, and reference implementation strategies.

• Assist in discussions with executive sponsors and ensure alignment between sales initiatives and delivery capabilities.

• Create architectural standards and reusable system design patterns for various clients.

• Align solution architecture strategies with the evolution of products and platforms.

• Develop standards and frameworks for qualification, discovery, and delivery processes.

• Set minimum technical readiness benchmarks and manage the escalation process for client deals.

• Establish architectural principles focused on scalability, performance, and reusability.

• Oversee emissions calculation, knowledge engineering, data integration, certificate compliance reports, and dashboard standards.

• Ensure the long-term maintainability of the CXL knowledge graph technology and client configurations.

• Maintain consistency in implementation and adherence to global system design standards.

• Set post-sales handoff standards and align Sales, Solution Architecture/Engineering, Delivery TPM, and Support teams.

• Build and lead the Solution Architecture organization.

• Define standards, objectives, and accountability while nurturing future leaders.

• Mentor junior team members.

• Extensive experience in balancing revenue growth with delivery risks, regulatory concerns, and long-term platform integrity.

• Proven experience in building and leading a Solution Architecture organization.

• Expertise in establishing standards, goals, and accountability while fostering future leaders.

• Comprehensive understanding of emissions architecture, knowledge graph design, data integration strategies, and platform scalability at the portfolio level.

• Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Experience with complex data integration and migration efforts in enterprise software implementations.

• Significant background in oil & gas operational facilities, whether upstream, midstream, or downstream.

• Ability to grasp operational challenges and effectively communicate with customer personnel across various functions and levels.

• Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, C&E charts, Electrical One-Lines, facility layout drawings, and similar engineered facility designs.

• Preferred experience in writing SQL queries and handling large or complex datasets.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of management tools is preferred.

• Previous software experience, knowledge of modern application architecture, and/or RESTful API integration experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Project Management and/or Agile certification is a plus.
