Director, Social Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the TikTok Shop division at Advertise Purple, taking charge of client strategy, growth, execution, and overall program performance.

• Create and implement TikTok Shop strategies aimed at enhancing GMV and fostering sustainable client growth.

• Act as the primary senior client-facing representative, conveying strategy, performance, opportunities, and challenges.

• Manage, mentor, and develop the Social Commerce team, while setting clear goals, processes, and performance expectations.

• Identify and activate growth opportunities within the TikTok Shop ecosystem, including GMV Max, LIVE, Creator Contests, and creator affiliate programs.

• Oversee technical integrations and program infrastructure, encompassing TikTok Shop, Shopify, Cruva, Euka, and various third-party platforms.

• Track client performance and convert data and trends into actionable strategic insights.

• Refine existing departmental processes and best practices, pinpointing opportunities to enhance team operations and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.

• Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a team.

• Proven track record in managing and expanding TikTok Shop programs.

• In-depth knowledge of the TikTok Shop ecosystem and the strategies necessary for successfully scaling brands on the platform.

• Strong comprehension of the technical integrations and operational infrastructure essential for running effective TikTok Shops.

• Established client-facing experience with the ability to articulate strategy and performance to key stakeholders.

• Familiarity with third-party TikTok Shop tools like Cruva and Euka, as well as e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.

• Solid understanding of TikTok Shop growth levers, including GMV Max, TikTok LIVE, Creator Contests, and creator affiliate programs.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the capability to take ownership of a growing business function.
