Director, R2R Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define the design and strategy for an agentic AI transformation within JLL’s finance technology division.

• Assume design authority prior to delivery and approve AI/integration initiatives to ensure business value and enterprise robustness.

• Facilitate the complete R2R product design strategy from initial concept through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Oversee the design, modification, and assessment of R2R solutions throughout the portfolio.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Support to balance ongoing support with forward-looking design efforts.

• Develop and sustain a performance framework that encompasses design quality, process efficiency, and business value.

• Present strategic roadmaps and investment proposals to Finance Technology leadership and the R2R Steering Committee.

• Direct the design of month-end journal processing, flux commentary, and enhancements related to month-end close.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for digitization, automation, and agentic AI.

• Ensure that designs comply with financial closing, month-end reporting, revenue assurance, regional regulations, and internal controls across over 60 countries.

• Research and suggest GenAI use cases within R2R and assess feasibility alongside Engineering.

• Create ROI-based business cases for GenAI and automation initiatives.

• Make informed decisions on build-vs-buy options concerning AI and automation tooling, vendor selection, platform integration, and total cost of ownership.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Data & AI teams to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to enterprise AI governance.

• Implement audit and compliance principles, including SOX, to billing and revenue-related workflows.

• Keep audit- and compliance-ready design documentation along with financial controls and audit trails.

• Engage in monthly O2C Steering Committee and quarterly CFT Portfolio Review governance meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience with a major ERP finance platform supporting Order-to-Cash operations, ideally with a strong preference for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.

• Extensive functional expertise across the R2R lifecycle and a proven track record of delivering changes that yield tangible benefits.

• Strong grasp of financial closing, month-end reporting, and revenue assurance processes within a global, multi-entity context.

• Experience contributing to at least one global ERP implementation or large-scale finance transformation initiative.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to engage and influence senior finance and technology stakeholders.

• Proven track record in scoping, validating, and deploying AI/ML or automation use cases in finance operations, with the ability to share specific examples of delivered business value.

• Practical experience with Generative AI tools and platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Oracle AI DP/Apex (preferred).

• Familiarity with agentic workflow frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen (preferred).

• Experience implementing AI solutions that adhere to financial controls and SOX requirements, including needs for explainability and auditability (preferred).

• Working knowledge of cloud-based AI/data platform capabilities and enterprise integration patterns (preferred).

• PeopleSoft or Oracle certification/accreditation (preferred).

• Experience in change management or transformation leadership, particularly in introducing AI/automation capabilities to finance operations teams (preferred).
