Director, Product Design

📋 Description

• Take charge of and expand Product Design within the Demand Partnerships and Demand Gen sector, managing various teams and designers.

• Establish and communicate a clear, engaging vision and guiding principles that influence product and experience decisions.

• Mentor and enhance the skills, talents, and career paths of designers.

• Collaborate with leaders in Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Business Development, and Marketing to shape strategies and drive business results.

• Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, user-focused design solutions across all teams.

• Develop team processes, operating frameworks, and organizational structures to amplify design impact.

• Advocate for user-centered design practices and incorporate research and data into the decision-making process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience leading product designers, including senior-level professionals and/or managers.

• Demonstrated success in shaping product vision and strategy within complex, cross-functional settings.

• High standards for visual design, interaction, and systems thinking across various experiences.

• Ability to enhance quality through team efforts rather than solely individual contributions.

• Outstanding cross-functional leadership and influence at both senior and executive levels.

• Experience in building and cultivating high-performing design teams and inclusive team cultures.

• Strong commitment to user-centered design, with effective collaboration with Research and Data teams.

• Proven expertise in leading product design for growth and/or demand-generation initiatives.

• History of improving acquisition, conversion, activation, and/or retention through experimentation, data analysis, and user insights.
