Director, Pharmacy Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design, development, execution, and performance of pharmacy programs.

• Assess market trends, client challenges, and demands to create competitive pharmacy programs, services, and solutions.

• Evaluate financial performance, project pharmacy business growth forecasts, business pipeline projections, and value models for new solutions.

• Collaborate with the VP of Growth, State Sector Leaders, and Account General Managers to analyze bid pipelines and develop state strategies.

• Assist in addressing state requirements through RFP and bid proposals for the Pharmacy Center of Excellence organization.

• Propel initiatives that support strategy, pharmacy growth, and business development.

• Report on the status of key initiatives and coordinate organizational resources for effective strategy implementation.

• Aid in executive growth initiatives and market strategy development.

• Create strategy materials and presentations.

• Analyze business development projects and initiatives led by senior leadership.

• Contribute to the management of Pharmacy segment P&L.

• Assist in strategies for optimizing Rx costs.

• Conduct analysis and support business cases for new investments.

• Act as an industry expert on GainwellRx while engaging with external clients, vendors, and business partners.

• Innovate new concepts in collaboration with states and teams to deliver supporting models.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree and/or over 10 years of experience in pharmacy-related fields.

• Proficient in strategic planning, communication, and financial analysis.

• Experience in engaging with healthcare industry clients.

• Proven track record of cross-functional leadership in teams and projects that encompass people, processes, and technology.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with external stakeholders and senior executives.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% to support key client meetings.
