This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee content and user experience, reporting directly to the VP of Product.
• Lead a team of 4–6 across various product domains and strategic initiatives.
• Act as a strategic partner to product and engineering leadership within the Product Trio framework.
• Collaborate with leaders from Customer Success, Implementation, and Data.
• Create a unified UX strategy and vision for the Resident Experience Platform.
• Enhance the UX standards through critique, coaching, workshops, and design presentations.
• Recruit, develop, assess, and offer feedback and compensation suggestions for team members.
• Manage designated strategic design projects from start to finish.
• Oversee the design system, including tokens, patterns, accessibility standards, governance, and adoption tracking.
• Spearhead the research practice and promote evidence-based decision-making.
• Assist in content design alongside interaction and visual craftsmanship.
• Establish the AI UX/content operational framework, encompassing tools, risk assessments, and guidelines.
• Provide high-level conceptualization, experience architecture, and design sprints for complex, high-impact product areas.
• Achieve measurable enhancements in resident onboarding, move-in satisfaction, support deflection, and internal operations workflows.
• Minimum of 8 years in digital product UX.
• At least 3 years of direct management experience with designers.
• Current hands-on design experience with recent project examples.
• Proven ability to mentor and elevate team members.
• Experience with design systems at the architectural level, including tokens, patterns, distributed contributions, and drift management.
• Capability to assess the quality and caliber of UX and content work.
• Skill in defining, implementing, and acting upon success metrics.
• Strong executive communication skills, including discussions on UX strategy, trade-offs, outcomes, and business metrics.
• Ability to establish a research practice involving residents and property managers, including usability testing and behavioral data analysis.
• A well-defined perspective on AI and design.
• Practical experience with AI tools for prototyping, content creation, research synthesis, or compliance with design systems in shipped products.
• Experience in both consumer and operator design.
• Must be available during scheduled working hours and maintain a quiet, professional, distraction-free workspace.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet access.
• Required to attend bi-annual in-person company meetings.
• Must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States post-hiring.
