This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and enhance the unified corporate financial model (Three-Statement Model).
• Develop dynamic top-down and bottom-up forecasts that inform headcount planning and capital allocation.
• Design a framework to monitor contribution margins on a per-product and per-platform customer basis.
• Collaborate with Product and Revenue teams to align technical resources with high-value customer needs.
• Provide guidance on roadmap prioritization by utilizing competitive analysis and market comparisons to validate pricing strategies and maximize ROI.
• Work alongside Revenue to structure intricate enterprise contracts that safeguard the cost structure and facilitate future margin growth.
• Offer pricing strategies to enhance deal value.
• Lead or provide counsel during commercial negotiations with essential infrastructure vendors.
• Oversee the COGS stack to optimize unit economics and ensure scalable input costs.
• Offer analytical support during critical engagements as an extension of the VP of Corporate Finance and CFO.
• Manage the company's financial model infrastructure.
• Ensure that external presentation materials and investor-facing models are kept up-to-date.
• Transform complex financial data into an engaging equity narrative.
• Develop a framework and evaluate LTV and CAC across various product lines and sectors.
• Report directly to the VP of Corporate Finance and Treasury.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience, integrating strong financial training with operational leadership in Strategic Finance or FP&A.
• Preferred experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, followed by operational experience in Strategic Finance/FP&A at a high-growth technology firm.
• Background in FinTech; direct experience in crypto, digital assets, payments, or banking/brokerage infrastructure is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills.
• Capability to build complex, integrated three-statement models from the ground up that are clear, logical, and auditable.
• Ability to design adaptable models for Non-Finance leadership, internal business partners, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in navigating modern software tools and large datasets.
• Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Databricks) is a significant plus.
• Ability to utilize AI tools and automation to streamline workflows, inform auditable data-driven model assumptions, and minimize manual data entry.
• Understanding of B2B/B2B2C API business models.
• Knowledge of Gross Revenue and Net Revenue in a payments/fintech context and the ability to articulate how pricing affects profitability and scalability.
• Proven ability to document and communicate business issues effectively and promptly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to distill intricate quantitative analysis into straightforward slides and memos for the Executive Team.
