This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement a detailed sales strategy for the South Region to meet revenue, gross-margin, and market-share goals.
• Direct regional sales planning, forecasting, pipeline creation, and territory prioritization.
• Recognize high-growth sectors, accounts, and geographical markets within the region.
• Set performance expectations, sales targets, and account development priorities.
• Align regional strategies with the overall growth objectives of the company.
• Track regional sales performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Cultivate new business opportunities with heavy-industrial clients.
• Establish executive-level relationships with clients, channel partners, and industry leaders.
• Oversee strategic account planning for key regional customers and significant opportunities.
• Pursue opportunities in retrofit, new construction, maintenance, capital projects, and energy efficiency.
• Present industrial LED lighting solutions as alternatives to outdated lighting systems.
• Assist with proposals, quotations, ROI analysis, and project-specific sales strategies.
• Build relationships with EPC firms, engineering companies, electrical contractors, distributors, and specification influencers.
• Drive product specification into industrial projects during the design and engineering phases.
• Assess, develop, and manage regional channel partners.
• Observe competitor activities, pricing trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the skills of regional sales professionals.
• Support complex account negotiations, customer presentations, and the development of strategic opportunities.
• Ensure consistent use of CRM systems, effective pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
• Encourage collaboration among sales, customer service, engineering, operations, product management, and leadership teams.
• Act as the senior regional contact for major clients and strategic partners.
• Collect and relay customer feedback, competitive insights, and market opportunities.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and regional business development activities.
• Guarantee successful project transitions, execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Over 8 years of progressive B2B industrial sales experience, including leadership or regional management roles.
• Proven success in selling electrical, lighting, automation, MRO, industrial equipment, or related technical products in heavy-industrial markets.
• Experience in selling to refineries, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, manufacturing sites, terminals, utilities, infrastructure, or energy-related environments.
• Strong comprehension of complex, specification-driven sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Preferred established relationships with industrial end users, EPCs, electrical contractors, engineering firms, distributors, or channel partners in the South Region.
• Demonstrated capability to build and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, strategic account plans, and regional growth strategies.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
• Ability to grasp technical product specifications and convey value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in managing lengthy sales cycles, competitive bids, capital projects, and retrofit opportunities.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, sales reporting tools, and pipeline management processes.
• Willingness to travel throughout the South Region as required.
• Experience with industrial LED lighting, hazardous-location lighting, explosion-proof lighting, high-bay and low-bay lighting, petrochemical/refinery/chemical plant environments, electrical products and distribution, MRO products, industrial automation, EPC project sales, electrical contracting, industrial construction, lighting controls, or energy-efficiency solutions is a plus.
