This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
• Oversee E.D. accounts to ensure optimal performance and profitability.
• Anticipate and proactively meet customer requirements.
• Discover growth prospects within accounts through effective product placement and promotional strategies.
• Manage pricing adjustments related to product categories and specified price change levels.
• Collaborate with the Data Analyst to analyze sales, trends, and opportunities.
• Generate monthly customer reports, including Fill Rate Reports and Shipments & Tracking against targets for quarterly or annual rebates.
• Process and issue quotations aligned with desired company outcomes.
• Supervise Manufacturer’s Representatives within the designated territory, focusing on budgeting, sales performance, pricing strategies, customer events, and contractor engagement.
• Organize and engage in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, and customer gatherings.
• Host customer tours at the Cerrowire plant to demonstrate the company’s capabilities, personnel, values, and culture.
• Coordinate efforts and maintain communication with Technical Sales and Innovation teams to support the company’s contractor-oriented strategy.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships that promote effective communication, information sharing, and successful outcomes.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Manager.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Advanced proficiency in computer applications (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint / Windows / Word / PowerBI or similar reporting tools).
• Proven analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact with all employee levels (both internal and external to the company).
• This position will be remote.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Electrical Distribution channel is required.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness, integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence, and the ability to mitigate, minimize, and resolve conflicts.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
• Proven team and leadership abilities: decision-making, analytical thinking, team building, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% within, and occasionally outside of, the assigned territory.
• Preferably located in CST or EST for easier travel to locations in the East Territory.
• Experience with an electrical manufacturer, distributor, or electrical product manufacturer's representative is preferred.
