Director of Sales – Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the sales and distribution strategy for the West Region, focusing on market development in both North and South.

• Identify, prioritize, and establish partnerships with distributors that cater to targeted store classes and retail chains.

• Develop distributor launch plans aligned with retailer opportunities, projected purchase orders, and field coverage requirements.

• Oversee or support RSMs and FSMs as markets become serviceable and necessitate execution assistance.

• Enhance the quality of route-to-market by decreasing reliance on distributors with structural limitations.

• Collaborate with the Director of Key Accounts, Specialty, Commercial Growth, and CSO to ensure alignment from distributor to retailer.

• Maintain weekly scorecards for the West Region, tracking distributor progress, field execution, depletions, store counts, and any arising issues.

• Establish a scalable route-to-market strategy for the West across North and South.

• Create alignment between distributor selection, retail targets, and field execution.

• Enhance access quality, execution, and market insights.

• Assist Eastroc in transitioning from opportunistic access to a robust U.S. distribution platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in beverage, CPG, DSD, or distributor management.

• Demonstrated success in securing, launching, and managing distributor partnerships across multiple states.

• In-depth knowledge of the West Coast market, particularly within convenience, grocery, independent, and regional chain channels.

• Experience in leading sales managers or field sales teams in a high-performance execution environment.

• Capacity to work with urgency while developing scalable processes, reporting mechanisms, and accountability systems.
