This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the design and administration of compensation plans across various sales roles and product lines.
• Spearhead the annual compensation planning process, from modeling and plan structure to stakeholder review, legal approval, and distribution.
• Manage the configuration of CaptivateIQ, ensuring automated commission calculations, data integrity, dashboards, attainment reporting, and platform optimization.
• Collaborate with Finance to transition manual commission and rate-modeling processes into CaptivateIQ.
• Develop financial models for compensation expenses, rate adjustments, quota changes, accelerators, incentives, and senior-level compensation packages.
• Work alongside Finance and Sales leadership on quota setting, territory revenue potential, attainment distribution, forecasting, and comp-to-revenue analysis.
• Address commission disputes, retroactive corrections, rate changes, and exceptions.
• Oversee compensation governance across Finance, Legal, HR, and Sales leadership.
• Standardize compensation plans and processes, encompassing guarantees, ramp schedules, templates, offer-letter alignment, and policies.
• Enhance monthly revenue reporting and attribution across data partners.
• Create leadership reports on attainment, projected payouts, variable compensation accruals, plan performance, and financial risk.
• Develop a scalable compensation operating model featuring cross-functional reviews, representative transparency, and plan-effectiveness analysis.
• Standardize monthly data usage reports from partners such as LiveRamp, Throtle, iHeart, TransUnion, and others.
• 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations.
• Direct responsibility for the design and administration of commission plans.
• Proven hands-on experience with CaptivateIQ, ideally involving the building or significant configuration of an instance.
• Strong skills in financial modeling.
• Ability to create scenario models from scratch using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with revenue-based commission structures linked to recognized revenue and quota attainment.
• Background in designing and managing multiple compensation plans across various roles, products, or sales motions.
• Experience in drafting and managing compensation plan documents through Legal review and approval.
• Strong cross-functional abilities across Finance, Legal, HR, Sales, and executive leadership.
• Experience in building or enhancing compensation processes in a high-growth environment.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or ad tech is a plus.
• Experience in designing compensation for new product launches is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL or a willingness to develop SQL skills is a plus.
• Ability to clearly communicate recommendations to Sales and Finance leadership.
