This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead the Sales team in Canada and provide strategic guidance.
• Develop strategic initiatives and allocate resources to meet revenue and profitability objectives.
• Foster the professional development of direct reports and the wider sales team.
• Establish resources and strategies to achieve team performance targets.
• Conduct talent development activities, assessments, check-ins, career path support, succession planning, and performance management.
• Motivate the team to deliver a cohesive business plan.
• Collaborate with Product and Merchandising teams on new product initiatives.
• Hold full P&L responsibility for sales channels.
• Oversee revenue streams, projects, and products to enhance sales growth.
• Manage high-level relationships within channels.
• Work alongside National Account Managers and various departments to optimize operations and manage inventory.
• Participate in strategic operations and leadership meetings.
• Provide sales and marketing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets, objectives, and plans.
• Analyze sales and financial data to pinpoint gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure timely and updated plans.
• Administer Market Development Funds budgets and channel sell-through initiatives.
• Set channel expectations for brand marketing efforts.
• Coordinate promotional activities and assess their effectiveness.
• Develop channel updates and sales training programs.
• Uphold a positive safety culture and adhere to safety policies and protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least ten years of experience managing national sales account activities, including P&L responsibility.
• A minimum of four years of experience in a managerial or higher-level position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian regulatory environment, distinct regional markets, and major domestic retail or enterprise networks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Canada and to the US.
