Director of Product Planning

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement Maxwell's product strategy tailored for the AI Data Center sector.

• Act as the market and customer authority, converting industry trends, hyperscaler demands, and power infrastructure challenges into actionable product roadmaps and growth strategies.

• Discover new market opportunities and propel the evolution of the product portfolio.

• Ensure that energy storage solutions are aligned with the emerging requirements of AI-driven data center architectures.

• Cultivate and sustain executive relationships with hyperscaler clients and ecosystem partners.

• Influence design-in strategies for supercapacitors and promote their adoption in targeted applications.

• Create and uphold a multi-year product roadmap.

• Facilitate specification and design-in victories by converting customer needs into actionable opportunities.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to outline product requirements, performance objectives, and opportunities for portfolio expansion.

• Develop business cases and market analyses for new product development initiatives.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on AI data center power architectures, energy storage, backup power technologies, and grid resiliency solutions.

• Supply market intelligence and strategic insights to the executive leadership team.

• Evaluate competitive offerings, technological disruptions, and emerging market prospects.

• Represent product and technology capabilities during customer interactions.

• Generate market forecasts and demand projections.

• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and portfolio management.

• Monitor market indicators and customer investment trends that will influence future demand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline is required.

• An MBA or an advanced technical degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, product planning, strategic marketing, business development, or similar leadership roles.

• Proven experience collaborating directly with hyperscale data center clients and cloud service providers.

• Strong comprehension of data center electrical infrastructure, power generation, power distribution, energy storage, and backup power systems.

• Experience in developing product roadmaps and commercial strategies for technology-driven products.

• Established ability to influence product development based on customer and market demands.

• Experience interacting with executive-level customer stakeholders.

• Strong financial acumen with a capability to assess and structure growth opportunities.
