This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the strategy and success of Carnegie Learning’s expanding Literacy product portfolio.
• Align long-term product vision with methodical execution.
• Gain insights into educators, districts, state adoption priorities, customers, competitors, and market dynamics.
• Recognize unmet needs and convert insights into product and investment strategies.
• Establish product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment plan.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, UX, Customer Success, and Literacy specialists.
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including targeting, differentiation, positioning, messaging, campaigns, sales enablement, and commercialization plans.
• Ensure launch readiness by defining critical paths, responsibilities, milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Facilitate launch reviews and evaluate timing, sequencing, risks, and trade-offs.
• Track pipeline, bookings, adoption, usage, customer feedback, competitive responses, and other success metrics.
• Make portfolio decisions regarding scaling, enhancing, repositioning, expanding, or ceasing investment.
• Convey market opportunities, product strategies, go-to-market plans, launch readiness, performance, risks, investment needs, and trade-offs to senior leadership.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in product management.
• Proven ownership of product strategy, go-to-market plans, launches, and growth initiatives.
• Experience in EdTech, educational publishing, or SaaS is particularly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent applicable experience.
• Established history of leading go-to-market strategies, including comprehensive launch planning, market segmentation, positioning, launch sequencing, and sales enablement.
• Experience managing products throughout their lifecycle while leveraging customer insights, market data, prioritization frameworks, and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and make decisions in uncertain environments.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing product talent.
• Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with K–12 education, curriculum products, or state adoption processes is a significant advantage.
• Deep expertise in ELA is welcome but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel: at least 25%.
