This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive strategic growth, profitability, and product management initiatives throughout Aspire's insurance portfolio.
• Lead and nurture a team of Product Managers and Analysts.
• Analyze intricate business challenges utilizing diverse factors and data sources.
• Provide analytical insights, research findings, performance reports, and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Supervise statistical analysis and data mining projects.
• Collaborate with IT to create scalable reporting and analytical solutions.
• Track product performance in conjunction with Actuarial, Loss Analytics, and Performance Analytics teams.
• Formulate, articulate, and implement product strategies to enhance profitability and market share.
• Assess market trends, competitor behaviors, and industry advancements.
• Offer technical, analytical, and strategic direction for cross-functional projects.
• Spearhead data-driven improvements in product, pricing, underwriting, and processes.
• Manage class, rate, and form product filings alongside Actuarial teams.
• Propel Microsoft-based automation projects aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
• Assist in advanced data analysis, product development, and enhancements in business processes.
• Preserve and improve departmental data and databases.
• Ensure testing and quality assurance for data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and guarantee ongoing product compliance.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Business Intelligence, IT, Agency Operations, and Executive Leadership.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management, including overseeing Product Managers and/or Analysts.
• In-depth understanding of the personal insurance sector, encompassing insurance products and coverages, claims, underwriting, distribution channels, sales, and business operations.
• A leadership-oriented mindset characterized by innovation and initiative.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and data analysis capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and guide high-performing teams.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and SQL.
• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, including direct interactions with Departments of Insurance.
• Proficiency in business process analysis, data scrutiny, and data profiling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
• Competence in tackling practical business challenges and interpreting complex written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduled instructions.
• Capability to thrive in a technology-driven, paperless environment.
• Experience in launching new states, insurance programs, or expanding markets.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with employees, business partners, and stakeholders.
• Skill in conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Capacity to cultivate a collaborative, professional, and team-focused atmosphere.
• Ability to represent Aspire in a professional manner and contribute positively to the company’s reputation and growth.
