Director of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Aria InsurTech’s software platform from conception to launch and ongoing enhancements.

• Engage with agents, sales, and operations to pinpoint missing, unclear, or malfunctioning features.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to prioritize the product roadmap.

• Create clear instructions and mockups for the development team.

• Oversee developers’ daily activities, including task assignments, progress evaluations, and delivery schedules.

• Conduct testing on every modification prior to release.

• Work with marketing and sales teams on product launches and the adoption of new offerings.

• Ensure the platform's speed, security, reliability, and maintain company control over code, accounts, and data.

• Monitor platform usage and provide reports to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team.

• Proven experience in owning a software product from initial concept through launch and ongoing refinement.

• Technical knowledge of software development adequate to plan with developers without the need for coding.

• Capability to prioritize development tasks, clearly articulate decisions, and decline lower-priority work.

• Skill in translating customer feedback and usage analytics into product decisions.

• Experience in a fast-paced company environment and establishing structure where none previously existed.

• Proficient with AI tools.

• Experienced with project management tools such as Monday.com.

• Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
