Director of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Aria InsurTech’s software platform, overseeing it from concept to launch and subsequent enhancements.

• Engage with agents, sales teams, and operations to pinpoint absent, unclear, or malfunctioning features.

• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize the product roadmap.

• Create detailed instructions and mockups for developers.

• Oversee the daily activities of developers, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Test all changes prior to release.

• Work alongside marketing and sales on product launches and agent training.

• Ensure the platform maintains high speed, security, and reliability.

• Safeguard the company’s control over its code, accounts, and data.

• Monitor platform usage and communicate results to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team.

• Proven track record of owning a software product from initial concept through launch and continuous improvement.

• Technical knowledge adequate for planning software in collaboration with developers without the need to write code.

• Strong ability to establish clear product priorities and articulate decisions in straightforward terms.

• Capability to translate customer feedback and usage analytics into product development decisions.

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and establishing order where none previously existed.

• Proficient with AI tools and project management platforms such as Monday.com.

• Preferred: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with proficiency in spoken and written forms.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without requiring sponsorship.
