Director of Product, AI Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the growth strategy regarding 1Password's AI prospects, encompassing target customer segments, successful outcomes, and integrated workflows.

• Formulate and validate hypotheses utilizing customer feedback, product usage metrics, partner insights, and market analysis.

• Conduct a weekly business review that incorporates the customer voice, field feedback, and product usage telemetry.

• Identify barriers to customer adoption and collaborate with product teams to resolve them.

• Manage the design customer program for emerging artificial intelligence initiatives.

• Select design customers and ensure measurable outcomes in deployment, security, and convenience.

• Serve as the primary accountable owner for customer implementations of 1Password agentic access.

• Coordinate with teams involved in deployments and establish requirements alongside forward-deployed engineering.

• Collaborate with solutions engineering, customer success, and product managers to align with customer objectives and oversee feature beta tests.

• Transform design-customer experiences, deployment trends, and measured outcomes into standardized go-to-market sales strategies.

• Enhance the program’s reach, success in delivery, customer satisfaction, and speed of commercialization.

• Ascertain where 1Password should function within customers' AI frameworks to secure agent access.

• Identify, pursue, and realize technology partnerships and integrations.

• Create repeatable integration models across comparable partners.

• Structure commercial agreements with business development teams.

• Develop demos and enablement materials for field and channel partners.

• Foster developer engagement through reference architectures, sample code, and contributions to open-source projects.

• Travel to design customer locations, partner meetings, and industry events approximately 10–20% of the year.

• Report to the Senior Director of Product.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in product management.

• Proven track record of managing revenue or adoption targets.

• Preference for experience in security products, agentic solutions, or developer tools.

• Experience in owning the strategy for a new product area or market entry, from initial hypothesis to production-level customer operations.

• Direct experience with enterprise customers on technical deployments, with accountability for results.

• Background in establishing technology partnerships and integrations.

• Technical expertise to discuss the development, deployment, and access of AI agents with developers and security architects.

• Capability to build consensus across go-to-market and engineering teams without direct authority.

• Ability to make informed decisions and advance work with incomplete information in a rapidly changing market.

• End-to-end ownership, including collaboration across teams.

• An AI-first approach to work, utilizing agents in daily tasks and applying sound judgment to decisions, product preferences, and relationships.

• Familiarity with agentic access products is preferred.

• Must already possess legal authorization to work in the specified countries; 1Password does not provide work authorization, relocation support, or visa sponsorship/transfers.
